    Food premises (commercial kitchen that serves food to the public), seasonal farm worker housing, recreational water (swimming pools, spas and hot tubs), public facilities with a well (i.e. campgrounds, trailer parks), personal services settings (hair salons, nail salons, tattoo shops, barber shops), licensed daycares, group homes, lodging homes, retirement homes, long term care facilities, premises regulated by the Smoke Free Ontario Act

    If required, the bacterial quality of private water supply systems can be determined by having samples analyzed at the Ministry of Health Regional Public Health Laboratory. Sample bottles can be obtained from the two offices of Southwestern  Public Health or from the Public Health Laboratory (519-455-9310).

    Alternatively, analysis of private water systems for chemical parameters and bacterial parameters can also be obtained from a private laboratory. Visit the Government of Ontario site for a list of laboratories licensed to perform drinking water tests www.ontario.ca/page/list-licensed-laboratories.
